Tanner & Guin has extensive experience representing clients in various general civil litigation matters, including business disputes, contract disputes, labor and employment matters, construction, real estate disputes, estate and trust matters, environmental concerns, and tax matters. Our attorneys are admitted to practice before state and federal courts in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

We work with our clients to develop proactive business strategies to avoid litigation and encourage our clients to resolve disputes with other parties before the dispute becomes a litigation matter. However, sometimes litigation is necessary to resolve disputes or enforce rights. In those instances we help our clients walk through the litigation process, including where and when to initiate a proceeding, defense of allegations, gathering and reviewing discovery, and engaging in settlement negotiations.
